Dalani Nelson, LAT, ATC

Hello! My name is Dalani and I have been an Athletic Trainer for almost 8 years. I graduated from the University of New England with my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2018 and have spent the entirety of my career working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic.
ATCs have extensive knowledge of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries, injury wellness and prevention, anatomy of the human body, and rehabilitation. I love working with clients that have battled injuries in the past or are currently working through them trying to find their footing with strength training.
I believe that anyone- regardless of age, ability, or experience in the gym- should be engaging in some form of resistance training. I have said to many patients that exercise is meant to be flexible, and meant to meet a person’s needs wherever they are currently at. Whatever your needs may be, we will work together to develop an achievable, goal-oriented plan and hopefully have fun while doing it!
As a true Mainer, I enjoy spending time outside in every season. My husband and I love hiking and skiing mountains, love a classic Maine Italian on the beach in the warmer months, love leaf peeping in the Fall, and everything in between. When we are not outdoors, you can find us spending time with our two cats, and fixing up our 146 year old home.
